Founded in 1996, the Chiltern Camerata is an amateur string orchestra for adults which performs in the High Wycombe area. We are a non-profit organisation.
Our players include music professionals and advanced amateurs. Our objective is to share the enjoyment of music-making and to bring a wide range of music to our audiences. We stage about three concerts per year and provide an opportunity for soloists to perform with an orchestra; we also raise money for charity. Often we combine with wind players, choirs and others to offer a wider range of music than the typical string repertoire.
