Paul McCartney once said "If it wasn't for the Crickets, there wouldn't be any Beatles." The band started out in Lubbock, Texas in 1957, recording timeless classics with Buddy Holly including 'Maybe Baby' and 'That'll Be The Day,' while their own hits include 'I Fought The Law' and 'More Than I Can Say.' The Crickets' career that has taken them from The Ed Sullivan Show to Late Night with David Letterman, from the rockabilly tunes of the '50s to more contemporary collaborations with artists such as Eric Clapton, Nanci Griffith, and JD Souther.
