The $99 Sale September 14, 2007

The $99 Sale is an aesthetic melée, a bemused statement about the value of art, a snapshot of the Twin Cities’ art scene and a fabulous fundraiser for The Soap Factory on September 14 and 15, 2007.

Use your keen eyes to discern the gems among 200 works by the fabulously-famous and the soon-to-be-celebrated. With signatures only on the back and nothing but your aesthetic skills as your guide, will you be able to pick out the latest artworld darling? Or will it really matter?

Feel free to pick out a favorite piece or ten – each work is only $99. And each purchase supports emerging artists and The Soap Factory, a catalyst for emerging contemporary art in our community.

Tickets to the opening night are $35 at the website, and the second day is free admission. (Arrive early and be ready to throw an elbow - there's a crowd!)
