Knowth is one of the most exceptional archaeological sites in the whole of Co. Meath, and possibly Leinster. The earliest evidence for human settlement dates to over 6,000 years. A complex of 18 passage graves, part of a much larger complex that is known as ‘The Boyne Cemetery’ or Brú na Bóinne.
