The Fantastic Plastic Group meets the last Thursday of each month. While the rest of the world refers to the Krappy Kamera movement, group members have so much fun with these “krappy” cameras that they have formed what they like to call the Fantastic Plastic photo group. Nationwide, this movement started in defiance of the digital age where nearly every image can achieve sterile technical perfection. Where’s the fun and creativity in that? Fantastic Plastic celebrates the messy unpredictability that comes from using truly low-tech gear.
