ITC's 2008-09 season concludes with 'The Immigrant,' featuring a book by Mark Harelik, with music by Steven M. Alper and lyrics by Sarah Knapp. This heartwarming musical is the true tale of a poor Russian-Jewish immigrant who ends up in the tiny Baptist community of Hamilton, Texas in 1909. As the years go by, a unique bond forms between the immigrant and the family that takes him in.
