The Lost Syllabus Book Club is for men and women who want to read some of the great writings that we were SUPPOSED to read in high school and college English classes, but never really did. Or we DID, but we didn't understand them at the time.
The "syllabus" we’re most interested in is the great American works of the 20th century, though we’re certainly open to others once we get our fill of F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway, Kurt Vonnegut, Jack Kerouac, Joseph Heller, Ralph Ellison, John Steinbeck, William Faulkner -- you get the idea.
The desired age group for this MeetUp is 25 - 40, but not exclusively.
IMPORTANT: To reserve your seat, you MUST join the book club through our web page at http://www.meetup.com/lostsyllabus/ and RSVP to each meeting separately. There is no charge to register an account with Meetup.com.
