The well-meaning Antonio helps out a friend by taking a loan from the moneylender Shylock, to whom he promises a pound of flesh if he can't recompensate him. When Antonio finds himself unable to pay Shylock back, he unfortunately learns the man was quite serious about the pound of flesh. Can Portia step in and save his skin?
