Skylark Opera presents Gilbert and Sullivan’s most celebrated comic operetta, offering guaranteed giggles with “I’ve Got a Little List” and other hits. A re-imagined production developed in collaboration with Mu Performing Arts. Names and locations have been updated while the memorable music and comedy remain intact. Flirting is forbidden in the English town of Ti-Tea-Pu, complicating a hilarious love triangle.
Directed by Rick Shiomi, artistic director and of Mu Performing Arts, and conducted by Steve Stucki, artistic director of Skylark Opera.
Only four performances: Saturday June 15th (Opening Night), Wednesday June 19th and Friday June 21st at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday June 23rd at 3:00 p.m.
Part of Skylark Opera's Summer Festival, it is playing in repertory with The Fantasticks. A series ticket is just 75.00 for both shows.
