The National Skin Cancer Screening Tour which is making a 2 day stop at The Jimmy V Golf Classic in Pinehurst on August 25th and 26th.
This cross country tour aims to raise national awareness of early detection and treatment of skin cancer, through FREE screenings (no appointment necessary) in an MDv (Mobile Diagnosis Vehicle). Pinehurst will be the 76th stop on the tour, which has already screened over 7,700 patients. Thus far, almost a third (33%) of patients have been diagnosed with some form of skin cancer, reinforcing the importance of yearly screenings.
