This farce, written by Larry Shue, takes place in Terra Haute, IN, where a birthday party is being thrown for an architect named Willum. An uninvited guest, Rick Steadman, crashes the party. Although he is rude and annoying, Rick saved Willum's life during Desert Storm, so Rick has promised to be his friend. Rick ends up staying with Willum and his wife, Tansy, for a week and quickly wears out his welcome. Willum and his friends devise a plan to get rid of Rick. They decide to drive him away by showing him how weird they can be, but their attempt inevitably backfires.
