Since the mid-1980s The Pistoleros band has actively performed and entertained many throughout the Upper Ohio Valley. The band plays a blend-style of danceable classic rock (Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Bad Company, John Fogerty, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Beatles, etc…), oldies rock (50s medley) and new country (Brooks and Dunn, Neil McCoy, Tim McGraw, etc..).

The band is 4-piece (guitar, drums, bass, keyboards). Gary Conaway is the lead singer and guitarist. Terry Westlake plays bass guitar and provides vocals. Ed Smith plays keyboards and chips in vocal harmony. Randy Conaway is the drummer, and also provides vocals.

The band has performed at the Upper Ohio Valley Italian Festival (Wheeling, 2006), the Ormet Company Picnic and the Betty Zane Days Festival (in Martins Ferry) for the past four years, and a host of other events such as wedding receptions, poker runs and festivals, not to mention many local restaurants/clubs/bars (Electric Flag, Hocks, Windmill Lounge, Hitching Post, The Buzz-In Cafe, Cameron Moose, New Martinsville Moose, Country Gold, The Avalon, etc…) in the Greater Wheeling area.
