The Print Shop, located across from the Garment Loft, showcases vintage typewriters, yellowed newspaper articles, and metal letters and words used for printing on the different types of machines located throughout the exhibit, providing a visual history of the printmaking industry. In the center of the room are two large black work tables where children can practice the art of printing. Throughout the gallery there are a multitude of other printing, copying, and typing machines that were instrumental in bringing the industry to where it is today. From an 1829 Acorn Press to a Macintosh computer from the 1980s, visitors can see the progression, in size, color and ability, from where these machines once were, to where they are now.
