PRESS RELEASE RED LOCATION MUSEUM, NELSON MANDELA BAY
The Red Location Museum will be showcasing Nigerian born and locally based artist - Usen Obot's "In Living Memory" Installation Art Exhibition - at the Museum from 26 May 2010 to 31 July 2010.

The launch of this exhibition will take place on 25 May 2010 at 17:30 for 18:00 and attendance need to be confirmed through the Museum's receptionist by 24 May 2010 by 12:00.
The Installation Art Exhibition, which is the first art exhibition sponsored by Red Location Museum, will feature in both the Museum's Conference Center and Contemporary Art gallery.
The description from the artist Usen Obot on this exhibition states: "The three sectioned exhibits encompasses artworks born out of the exploration into common materials which include perspex, leather, fabric, fiberglass, clay, metal and copper. It is a metaphorical re-examination of South Africa's socio-political culture to highlight and engage on the complexities of South Africa's new democracy."
