It is a great pleasure for us to invite you to participate to the International Congress "The Role of Advanced Cardiac Imaging: Clinical decision making in Coronary artery disease" that will be held in Mestre, Venice – Italy – from 8 to 10 May 2013.

This scientific event is organized by the European Association of Echocardiography (E.A.E.), a registered branch of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), in collaboration with:

- University of Padua - Italy
- University Medical Center Rotterdam – The Netherlands
- Johns Hopkins University – United States of America
- University of Chicago Medicine – United States of America
- Piedmont Heart Institute/Advanced Heart Failure Centre - United States of America

The overall programme will be divided into three different events:

A. Parallel teaching course on "How to include Three-Dimensional echocardiography in your clinical workflow".
8th May 2013

B. Parallel teaching course on "The Role of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance in ischemic heart diseases".
8th May 2013

C. International Workshop on "Advanced cardiovascular imaging in coronary artery disease"
9th & 10th May 2013

The whole EAE teaching courses will be held in Venice from 08 to 10 May 2013. We expect a large attendance not only from Europe, but also from all over the world.

This Workshop has been designed to offer attendees an up-to-date about the incremental diagnostic and prognostic yield provided by non-invasive cardiovascular imaging through the whole spectrum of ischemic heart disease. We also expect to teach attendees about how to use information provided by different imaging modalities to address management of patients with different manifestations of ischemic heart disease.

We really hope that you will accept our invitation, that certainly will contribute to expand the use of non invasive cardiovascular imaging and improve its cost/effectiveness in the European Cardiology Community.
