The ToonSeum celebrates the release of Ed Piskor’s Wizzywig July 27, 2012

Pittsburgh, PA-Rolling Stone Magazine has called it “The Next Big Thing” and the ToonSeum is proud to say, we saw it coming all along. On July 27th the ToonSeum will celebrate the release of Ed Piskor’s Wizzywig with a book release party.

Ed Piskor will be on-hand throughout the evening to sign copies of the book. Books may be pre-purchased along with event tickets at www.wizzywig.eventbrite.com
Beer, wine and comics will be served.
A special limited edition print commemorating the release is also available for purchase.

About Ed Piskor
ED PISKOR makes his solo graphic novel debut with Wizzywig. Beginning in 2005, he collaborated with the late American Splendor author, Harvey Pekar, on multiple projects, including two graphic novels, Macedonia and The Beats. He also designed characters and produced art for the Adult Swim television series Mongo Wrestling Alliance on Cartoon Network.

Currently Ed is publishing two comics online. The first, Deleterious Pedigree, updates every few days at wizzywigcomics.com. He also draws a weekly comic strip called Brain Rot for notorious hacker-friendly website BoingBoing.net, which includes the popular “Hip Hop Family Tree” feature.
