'The Truth' is a comically sympathetic study of a woman who cannot help but lie, from the pen of the king of American theater at the turn of the century. Life is a little dull for Becky Warder, without a few embellishments, but before long, her reputation and her marriage hang on the changing of her ways... how hard can it be, just to tell the truth?
