UNM Main Campus
Albuquerque, New Mexico

The Vagina Monologues is apart of the greater movement, V-Day, which works to prevent violence against women all over the world. The University of New Mexico main campus production of The Vagina Monologues is Saturday, Feb 18th at 7:00pm and Sunday, Feb 19th at 2:00pm in the basement of Popejoy Hall, Theater X. Tickets are available for the main-campus production The Vagina Monologues at UNM Bookstore ticket office, Albertsons Supermarket ticket outlet, and online at unmtickets.com
The production at the University of New Mexico is entirely volunteer-driven and student led. We are dedicated to a cause: to promote women’s empowerment, and to have fun doing it all proceeds will be split between the Sabrina Single Mother’s Scholarship, Young Women United and the V-Day Spotlight Campaign: Women and Girls of Haiti.
There will be a special appearance by three of UNM’s own men with a man-ologue. Each performance will include a discussion lead by Audri Robybal and other member of the V-Day organization including interim director of the Women’s Resource Center, the entire cast and production team and the owner of Self Serve, Albuquerque’s sexuality resource center. This is an opportunity to discuss the topics of the play, ask questions and end violence against women.
This event is co-sponsored by the UNM Women’s Resource Center, SCRAP, the Feminist Research Institute, Women Studies and the UNM Department of Theater and Dance.
