These Fruits of Society December 22, 2009

Society bears fruit, some of which has been gathered by gallery F. In an exhibition of sculpture, installation, video, collage and painting, the show playfully inquires into issues of identity, belonging, and gender. These fruits of society have grown out of the interplay of societal expectations and the idea of one's true self. The artists' works present a spectrum from humorous to deeply contemplative. The artists of the exhibit include Patricia Earnhardt, Libby Rowe, Sara Estes, Daniel Lai, James Darr and Matt Christy.
