Tincture August 4, 2006

SolArts presents "Tincture", award-winning San Francisco playwright Sean Owens's six woman exploration of color, relationships and desire. Newly arrived actor/director Kathryn Wood orchestrates this Albuquerque premiere.

As June goes colorblind, the women around her grapple with their own relationships to color and perspective;
Kirsten, the shy optometrist prefers purple fettuccini to plain; Morgan, the painter, worries about the morality of her colors; Hannah, the black-and-white filmmaker is doomed to see every decision in scales of grey.
Colors become transparent and tactile, weaving themselves into our daily lives.

August 4th only: Opening night reception with the author, and delectable nibbles from the Artichoke Cafe and Cake Fetish.
