Shawn Wildermuth (aka ADOGuy - Microsoft C# MVP - Silverlight Guru) is in town as part of his Silverlight Tour (http://www.silverlight-tour.com). Shawn has been organizing geek dinners in Atlanta for quite a while now - a great opportunity to have dinner and talk tech, mingle, and network with the rest of the community. I’m setting one up here in Toronto at the Jack Astor’s near Square One Mississauga.
Forewarning: it’s not going to be anything formal - since I can’t anticipate the number of people who might show up, I won’t be making a reservation. Whodunit
I found some other pirate-related things in Orlando for us to do when we are there for the pirate treasure hunt:
-- Pirates of the Caribbean ride (of course!)
-- Epcot Flower & Garden Show (to see the pirate topiary display)
-- SeaWorld Orlando (to see the Elmo and the Bookaneers show)
-- Pirate's Cove mini golf
-- Pirates Adventure dinner theater
-- World of Disney store at Downtown Disney (to see the new pirate room in the shop)
