Recording artists, Chris and Eric Reading, The Readings, are gearing up for Tour 4 Cure (T4C), a national acoustic concert series to benefit the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF). T4C was conceptualized to raise money and awareness for Multiple Myeloma, a form of blood cancer that ultimately took the life of their mother Bonnie.
Since that loss, The Readings continue to give back to cancer research and will continue to do so through their music, concerts and CD Sales. Their Southern Rock style is rich with warm, deep harmonies that will get you humming to their original tunes and singing along to some of your favorite classic covers.
This disease is something very personal for the brothers, as their mother was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in April of 1990. Their mother, Bonnie, lost her courageous battle to this disease at the age of 51. The loss of their mother not only inspired them to follow their dreams, but fueled their ambition and passion to create T4C.

The Readings are passionate performers who define their sound as "real life, set to music." The Nashville residents have performed with the likes of Amy Grant, Billy Currington, Jimmy Wayne and Jennifer Hanson. They have completed two full-length albums and written hundreds of original songs, several of which have been recorded by other artists. The Readings' video "She Brings Me Down" was selected by Country Music Television ® (CMT) as one of the nation's best independent videos.
