Tricks, Treats & Trails October 23, 2010

Come out to Oxbow Meadows for a fun, educational Halloween celebration! From 5-7 p.m., take a walk on the Trick-or-Treat Trail where you'll encounter wildlife who will tell you about their role in the environment and give you a Halloween treat. Enjoy games crafts, and face painting sponsored by CSU's College of Education and Health Professions. At 6:00, join Auburn University's Southeastern Raptor Center for a presentation on local owls. Watch as rehabilitated owls are released into the wetland at Oxbow Meadows. Then as the sun sets from 7-8 p.m., watch the full moon rise with telescopes from the Coca-Cola Space Science Center. Students and faculty from the Center will be onhand to assist and answer questions.
