Cleveland has had a fascinating history of crime. Some of our country's most complex criminal cases remain unsolved, others were decided by a jury yet the arguments continue to this day! Please join us for this monthly series of True Crime Cleveland. Mark Wade Stone, of Storytellers Media Group, challenges us to wonder if they had the right man all along for the murder of Marilyn Sheppard, or would modern techniques say the trial found an innocent man guilty? Sam Sheppard's account of the early morning hours of Independence Day 1954 is reconsidered. The Emmy award-winning Mr. Stone will show his film "The Day Marilyn Died" and will lead discussion. Mr. Stone's thorough investigation into this topic included extensive interviews with Cleveland's own Doris O'Donnell, a long-recognized newspaper journalist. Copies of the DVD will be available for $10 at the program. Location: Shore Room
