Shine those dancing shoes and get ready to make some miracles! Children’s Miracle Network and the University of North Florida are bringing Dance Marathon to Jacksonville. The most successful student-operated philanthropy in the Southeast is an awesome opportunity to bring college students together for a great cause and lots of fun. Dance Marathon combines dancing, games and physical challenges to keep dancers on their feet for 12 straight hours. All the tiring work goes to support the pediatric programs of Shands Jacksonville and Wolfson Children’s Hospital. The dancing gets started at 8:00 p.m. on November 17th. If you’re a student interested in dancing in the marathon or if you want to volunteer or sponsor this event, logon to www.unfdancemarathon.com.
