University of Phoenix and American Red Cross Association Host Local Blood Drive for Kalamazoo Residents March 4, 2009

WHO: University of Phoenix hosts a blood drive for residents to become involved with the American Red Cross, enabling them to give back to the local community.

University of Phoenix provides nearby campus locations, online degree programs and flexible scheduling for working students. Their campus and online degree programs cover fields such as business and management, communications, criminal justice and security, education, general studies, nursing and health care, human services, psychology, and technology.

The American Red Cross is made up of 712 chapters and 36 blood services regions, which fulfill the mission of the American Red Cross in communities across the country.

WHAT: A one-day event to involve students, community leaders and residents. Bring a friend and donate blood to the American Red Cross Association in the Kalamazoo/Portage area to help locals in need
