'Unknown Pleasures' feat. Lower Dens (DJ set) February 8, 2013

** For this special installment, ‘Unknown Pleasures’ is thrilled to be featuring DJ sets by our friends Jana Hunter and Walker Teret from Baltimore-based indie darlings and all-around awesome band Lower Dens. Starting at 10:00pm, Jana, Walker, and Chris will tag team ‘Unknown Pleasures’ sets, playing an assortment of their favorite records. **

With an eclectic selection that is simultaneously underground and accessible, ‘Unknown Pleasures’ curator/DJ Chris Price offers up an option to locals who are looking to get out and hear some diverse dance-oriented music, but wish to avoid the typical DC “club scene”.

In general, this includes a focus on classic house, disco, and synth-pop, so don’t come expecting to get down to overplayed radio genres like top 40 or commercial hip-hop.
