The bold Urban Bush Women dance company performs April 28-May 1 at Harlem Stage. The program, entitled “Resistance and Power,” includes cult fan favorite "Walking with Pearl...Southern Diaries," the moving solo tribute to the struggle for human rights, "Give Your Hands to Struggle," and "Women's Resistance," only seen in New York City at BAM Next Wave Festival in 2008. On April 30, Urban Bush Women will feature a special tribute dance featuring more than 20 former alumni dancers and end the evening with THE STOMP dance party fundraiser featuring DJ REBORN and complimentary champagne, wine and food.
