Lunch for anyone in Melbourne, Australia working in user experience, interaction design, information architecture, usability and related disciplines.
No agenda, no presentations, no product pitches. Just lunch with like-minded individuals.
Thu 20th:
Wow, I didn't expect so many responses! I've closed the guestlist at 22 because I had to make a booking with the hotel and they semi-freaked-out when I told them I had 20! Man, organising social stuff is fraught with danger. No doubt I've annoyed some people who were waiting to see how their week was looking before responding. If you still want to come along send me a message with your email address and I'll try and extend the booking (there's a link to me below).
Meanwhile the booking is under "UXIDIA - Shane Morris".
Also, I am supposed to be getting a menu spreadsheet for those who want to pre-order their lunch (the hotel seemed to recommend it). Not sure how I'm gonna handle that either but stay tuned.

I've been meaning to go to tequp for ages but it's so intimidating! Up the stairs, 2nd corridor on the left, behind the door marked 'beware of the leopard'. Passprase: 'The ducks fly at midnight'. So David Lemphers has promised to go with me next tme for company and moral support.

There is a weekly meetup called tequp which has been going for about 2 years also on wednesdays where UI, design and art in general are a main theme.
