"Jamestown" (1923), a silent film based on the historical novel by the Richmond writer and women’s suffragist Mary Johnston. It depicts the struggles to establish the colony. Preserved by the Library of Congress, this rarely-seen film will be screened with live musical accompaniment by the St. Charles String Quartet.
