The Armory Art Centers prestigious Visiting Master Artist Workshop series begins its 13th season this year. From December through April the 2-5 day Visiting Master Artist Workshops provide intensive study in the studio arts. The series has been carefully designed to provide artists at all levels of skill and experience, from beginner to professional, the opportunity to study with the best of todays master artists working in the areas of alternative media, ceramics, drawing, painting, printmaking, jewelry, glass, metals and sculpture. Armory masters are internationally recognized artists and educators who will share their considerable expertise in workshops distinguished by broad-based knowledge and in-depth specialization. Students of all abilities are invited to explore a range of disciplines and media in the Armorys atmosphere of creative interaction, artistic intensity and easy camaraderie.
