The Walk for Better Hearing is an annual event hosted by the Kalamazoo Chapter of Psi Iota Xi. This national sorority is dedicated to helping others, especially those with speech and hearing disabilities. This year's walk will continue the tradition of raising funds to help the Constance Brown Hearing Centers provide hearing health to low-income individuals. For 67 years, Constance Brown Hearing Centers has served in the prevention, identification, evaluation, and rehabilitation of communication disorders caused by impaired hearing. The Constance Brown Hearing Centers operate as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and as such your gifts are 100% tax-deductible.
To register ahead of time call Jim at the Constance Brown Hearing Centers at 269.343.2601 or stop in at one of our two locations in Kalamazoo or Portage and pick up a registration packet. Otherwise you may show up the day of walk (note t-shirts are limited and early registration is advised to secure your shirt). Register at the grain elevator on the morning of the walk from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m., closing promptly to ensure the walk to start at 1:00 p.m. This is a non-competitive, non-timed walk. Won't you join us helping to provide hearing health to all?
