A lecture by American Veterans Aid consultant, Deron Stokes, on Sat. Feb 4th, 10am, at San Clemente Villas, covers a little known Department of Veterans Aid program called the “Aid and Attendance Benefit.”
The program benefits to war era veterans include: a single vet receiving up to $1700 per month, a married vet with spouse receiving up to $2019 per month, and a surviving spouse, up to $1094 per month---all tax free
This Benefit is used to help cover a qualified veteran’s long term care costs in an Assisted Living Community.
