Where's the Milk? October 20, 2010

What do we eat that is made from milk? Which animals on the farm give us milk? Find out as we spend some time milking and caring for the "milk-makers" as well as other animals, and learn why they are such an important part of the farm. We'll make a delightful dairy treat! - - Up to three children per adult. Fees apply to all participants, both adults and children. "Backpack babies" (under 12 months and carried in a backpack or sling) are welcome free of charge, but please mention these participants on the registration form. - - Things You Should Know: - - Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary is a dynamic environment. Occasionally we may make programmatic changes to take advantage of new opportunities or to maintain the safety of all animals and visitors. - - Children should be the age indicated by the start of each program. - - In programs where there is a farm to food connection, snacks from the farm may be incorporated.
