Enjoy a taste of the Mediterranean by attending the 2012 Spring Greek Food Festival, hosted by the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 32 East Ross Street (near the Wilkes-Barre Post Office) in Wilkes-Barre from Wednesday, May 9th to Saturday, May 12th from 11:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. daily. An assortment of Greek food and pastries, including gyros, stuffed grape vine leaves, spinach pies, baklava, galaktoboureko, and others, will be available for eat-in or take-out purchases. Orders more than $30 will be delivered free within a 2 mile radius of the church. Mother’s Day baklava and assorted Greek pastry baskets will be sold. A variety of ethnic products will also be sold, including a Greek-themed raffle. Church tours will be offered upon clergy availability.
