Let's explore life in the world of ice and cold! What does a chipmunk do in its burrow? Does the woodchuck snore? Where are the ladybugs and salamanders hiding? We will start by reading Under the Snow by local author Melissa Stewart as we snuggle up by the fire. We'll meet one of the animals featured in the story, then go out exploring for those secret hiding places. - - All ages welcome; up to three children per adult. "Backpack babies" (under 12 months and carried in a backpack or sling) are welcome free of charge, but strollers are not appropriate for the terrain we will cover; please mention these participants when registering. The fee for children age 12-17 months is half the regular fee.
