Women’s Writing Workshops:
The OHSU Center for Women's Health invites you to join with other women who have been diagnosed with cancer for a writing workshop.
This writing group will offer a confidential and relaxed setting to write stories that encourage health and healing. Participants will be invited to write in response to exercises and then to read their writing if they choose. Fellow writers will have the opportunity to positively respond to another's writing. This writing group will employ the Amherst Writers & Artists method (info at amherstwriters.com) and thus provide a safe and empowering environment to creatively explore your thoughts and feelings through writing.
Workshop leader, SuEllen Pommier, Ph.D. is an assistant professor, OHSU Division of Surgical Oncology. She is trained in the Amherst Writers & Artists method.
