Workshop on 'Use of Technology in teaching and Learning of Economics'
Overcrowded classrooms and outdated textbooks... where does the real learning take place?
Maybe the answer lies in use of technology... In today's fast changing world, technology has become an inevitable part of our lives. The use of computer technology and the easy access to educational resources is changing the way we learn and teach our students.
Considering the need to enhance the skills of the teaching community, we organised a number of workshops for college teachers in different parts of Mumbai. All such workshops have been highly appreciated by the teaching community!
A similar workshop on 'Use of Technology in teaching and Learning of Economics' will be held on 24th January, Saturday from 8:30am to 1.30pm. This workshop is being organised, jointly by the Forum of Free Enterprise and The Economics Club, Mumbai in association with The Economics Department of R. JhunJhunwala College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Ghatkopar (West).
We are keen to involve teachers of junior colleges in our endeavour and hence this workshop is being organised exclusively for them.
During the workshop experts will conduct various interactive sessions on topics like 'Setting up a Lecturer's blog', 'Web resources for economics teachers' .
Each participant will be given a separate computer with internet access.
Colleges can depute two teachers from The Economics Department of their Junior College.
