The display consists of 70 oil paintings and sculptures with a focus on the cowboy life, so prominent in the Prescott area. It features working cowboys and cowgirls, rodeo heroes, Native American elders and children, mountain men, Western landscapes, and Buffalo Soldiers. The exhibit is a collection of Freeman pieces from the Legacy archives, some of which have never been exhibited. Also included are an illustration Freeman did for Coca Cola along with book covers for Will James and J.P.S. Brown. A wonderful addition to the exhibit is a display of the collectable series plates Freeman created for Hamilton Collectibles with the original sketches and finished oil paintings.”
