Writers Wanted!

Register Now for Summer Sessions of the Young Writers Workshops in the New Smyrna Beach area.

Writers will write and illustrate their own books. They will fill out job applications and join Creative Kids Publishing. They will write and sign contracts detailing the plans for their books.

Covered topics include the elements of a story and what makes a great beginning. Each writer will serve as a story editor and as an art director to other writers and will have others act as their editors. Pride in their work and the joy of achievement will entice the writers to care about their stories. Reading, writing, illustrating, spelling, grammar, listening and speaking become meaningful due to the writer's desire to make their book the best it can be.

The method uses strategies which maximize use of both the academic brain and the creative brain and unlock the potential for creative genius. The first date is June 21st - July 1st from 9-11 am. Call Angie at 423-3474 for more information
