Yoga, which means union, unites mind & body. It is an activity that allows people of all levels to participate. Classes are taught primarily in the hatha & vinyasa styles with additional influences from the ashtanga schools. There are many documented health benefits to yoga such as functional core strength, flexibility/range of motion, spinal & postural alignment, balance, & coordination. Yoga will help those with conditions such as high blood pressure, stress, depression, hyperactivity, arthritis
muscular & skeletal imbalances.
