Young Naturalist: February 27, 2010

How can hibernating animals sleep for months at a time? Why can't we? In this session we will explore strategies used by local animals to survive winter. Participants will test blubber gloves, investigate ways that groundhogs stay cozy in their dens, and map the amazing journey of the monarch butterfly. We'll go on a tracking excursion outside, so proper attire is a must. Register early to reserve yor space!
