Young Naturalist: Signs of Winter January 9, 2010

Come explore Blandy's winter wonderland! Participants will make snow in the classroom, use a model to discover why winter days are so short, and create an all-season sundial. After exploring why some trees lose their leaves, we will head outside to identify native trees and search for critters finding shelter in their bark. Dress for the weather, we will go outside.
