Youth Guidance Awards Students At Pool Party August 14, 2010

Youth Guidance celebrated their children’s hard work during the Good Grades Pool Party on August 14. The annual event, held at the Gifford Aquatic Center, Vero Beach, brought Youth Guidance children together
along with many volunteers to recognize the youth for their hard work and effort in school. Over 150 community members and youth enjoyed an afternoon of swimming, snowcones, prizes and fun! The Youth
Guidance students look forward to this event all year long and it inspires the kids to do well in school. The children were awarded ribbons and medals for their good (straight A’s or A/B honor roll) and/or improved grades. The students with straight A’s also received other recognitions including a reception sponsored by the Exchange Club of Vero Beach.
As a special treat, Cheryl Conley, 2011 Florida Department of Education's Teacher of the Year from Osceola Magnet School, gave a motivational speech to the students. Youth Guidance also held their Polo
