Zoo Camp: Around the World in 5 Days July 11, 2011

July 11-15. Half Days: 9 am to noon, or 1 pm-4 pm. Become a great explorer and join us on an exciting trip around the world via the zoo. Tour five continents in five days while exploring how animals adapt to different environments. We'll uncover how nature and animals have inspired the various cultures, foods, art, music and more. Travel to Africa to see lions and zebras; Asia to see camels and bears; Australia to see wallabies and emus; South America to see flamingos and boas; and back home to North America to see otters and eagles. Don't forget your passport! Campers receive a T-shirt. Each day is full of topic and age-specific lessons, crafts, animal interactions and activities in the zoo. All lessons are taught by trained adult instructors. Registration must be received at least 3 days before class starts.
